Tashuna Hunt, LMSW
Founder & Lead Therapist

I am a Licensed Social Worker and the founder of Space for Change Therapeutic Services. I create intentional space for teens and women to heal, grow, and step fully into who they are. Therapy with me is collaborative, empowering, and rooted in helping you build clarity, confidence, and emotional resilience.
I help teens and women find their voice, understand their identity, and recognize the power they already possess. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or life transitions, I provide a supportive environment where growth is nurtured and transformation is possible.

As an EMDR-trained therapist, I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) alongside trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches to help clients process past experiences and move forward with greater freedom and self-awareness.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, and rooted in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I am passionate about influencing others toward growth and helping clients step into their full potential.
At Space for Change, we believe: We Learn. We Grow. We Win.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your journey.

Shynequa Williams, LLMSW
Therapist
I believe healing happens in safe, affirming spaces where you can show up fully as yourself. I’m passionate about supporting teens and young adults as they navigate emotional overwhelm, trauma, and major life transitions.I work especially well with individuals who’ve had to grow up fast, those who carry responsibility quietly, push through stress, or feel the weight of staying strong for everyone else. I understand how grief, uncertainty, family dynamics, academic pressure, and life changes can build up over time and leave you feeling exhausted, anxious, or disconnected.
If you’ve been carrying a lot emotionally, mentally, or silently……you don’t have to keep doing it alone. In our work together, therapy will be a space where you don’t have to minimize your feelings, explain your pain away, or pretend you’re okay. I provide a supportive, trauma-informed environment where you can explore your experiences honestly, build emotional awareness, strengthen healthy coping tools, and move toward healing at your own pace.
My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I believe you are the expert of your story, and I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s work together to reduce anxiety and overwhelm, process difficult experiences, and build the confidence to navigate life with clarity and resilience.
Currently, I accept clients in-person and virtually, under the supervision of Tashuna Hunt, LMSW. Let's take that first step together! I’m honored to be part of your journey.
